Is a bad haircut an “assault”?

I understand that you enter into a contract when you sit in the chair, and that you’re legally obligated to pay the posted price, regardless of the quality of the haircut, and that you’ve consented to the cutting of your hair.

But let’s assume you say, “Just a nice little trim,” and Sweeney Todd does a hatchet job – not quite drawing blood but otherwise doing as much damage as possible without closing his eyes – so that even the least vain, least image-conscious, least superficial person you’ve ever known looks at you and says,

“Jesus. That’s a bad haircut.”

Clearly, this is an “unwanted touching.” No?
